  1. os X > vista

    os X = 7

  2. 3 major??? i thought there are only two major: windows and mac

  3. Oh? Can you show me how to restore an individual file to a previously saved version with System Restore?

Time Machine stores individual changes, akin to a CVS for your filesystem. Is System Restore the same?

  4. No it doesn’t? and if you want to back up a single file it’s not like you can’t.

I hate it how people hear things and they just repeat it as if they know for a fact from personal experience…

No offense to you, honestly… but it’s not impossible to back up a single [or even a small group] of files on a computer with Windoze.

  5. System Restore restores the whole system though. What if you just want to restore a previous version of a single file?

  6. lmac just schooled windows lol

  7. After using all 3 major OS it just feels the same to me.

  8. u are comparing a leapord with a cat.

Oh So You Use Linux Nice Me Too Well I Have All 3

  11. ROFL, this is terribly inaccurate…
You can too create copies on a separate drive and create backups of the files.
If that fails, you can just do system restore and it will go “back in time” with the registry, so to speak.

I got a computer in 2004 running Windows XP and on first boot it asked you to use a feature which ‘automatically’ partitions and copies files to hard drive and/or standard DVD disk. xD
Not sticking up for MS, just correcting that little error. I use neither MS nor APPLE.

  12. Exactly. Apple seems to have figured that out and, thus, doesn’t allow third party software to run BS at startup. Thing is, though, that doing what I said through msconfig takes less than a minute.

  13. I love you comment. It is funny and very accurate. Brilliant.
    Vista = shit.

    Go Mac go.

  14. here is my intellegent in-depth review of Windows Vista: IT SUCKS. Thank you for reading my in-depth review of Windows Vista =).

  15. I think most people will find loads of great software out there for Mac. Loads of it coded better than the Windows counterparts.

  16. here here, thank you Vista for converting me to my Mac!

  17. Point is why should you have to do that?

  18. The point is, you don’t need ReadyBoost with OS X because the memory management is better.

    I am a recent switcher, but I wouldn’t go back now…

  19. mac better but vista has games/ that is y i use a macbook and a windows 7 and yes 7 not vista

  20. Windows a rock-solid OS given that you don’t have a shitload of bloatware running. Go to msconfig>run and in the startup and services tabs disable all non microsoft processes.

  21. 90% of software makers make softwares for PC, not for Mac. So i’ll stick with windows

  22. you’ve been biased the entire time you put windows down the whole time and there are a couple of things the Mac would never have like Windows ReadyBoost feature can swap flash memory with any large USB device.

i want that mirrir background u got at the start ^^lol how to get? or where?

  24. Musho your argument is very flawed. The virus thing is not a sham. Yes you can get viruses on a mac, but it is highly unlikely and is STILL in the small minority. If you look at the market share, you’ll see that windows still holds more than 90% of the market share bud.

  25. I have both used the lenovo thinkpad and a macbook extensively. Owned a thinkpad for 2 years and I’ve been using a macbook for the past 4 months.

There is now question in my mind at all that the macbook is the better machine. It does absolutely everything better than the thinkpad did. And the thinkpad was in rough shape by the time I was done with it. broken plastics, worn out keys.
Apple wins hardware wise for sure. And OS X is much more stable than XP or Vista. Without a doubt.
